Register your interest in becoming a pilot school for Living Knowledge Place

The Living Knowledge Place Pilot School Program offers selected schools the opportunity to engage with a curriculum-aligned digital platform grounded in First Nations knowledge systems.

Participating schools will gain an exclusive first look at the platform and the opportunity to help shape its development.

As part of the program, schools will receive access to selected teaching units and classroom-ready resources, including:

  • Detailed lesson sequences with learning intentions and success criteria
  • Worksheets and classroom resources
  • PowerPoint presentations
  • Assessment opportunities (tasks and guides, where applicable)
  • Video and story-based content grounded in real voices and lived experience

Connecting young Australians with Traditional Knowledge through story and Country.

Living Knowledge Place (LKP) is Living Knowledge Network’s digital learning platform developed in collaboration with Elders, Knowledge Holders and Community, supporting authentic, curriculum-aligned learning for schools.

LKP supports teachers to meaningfully embed Indigenous perspectives across the curriculum through authentic, community-led learning.

More than a resource platform, LKP enables learning that connects students to people, place and Community. It supports deeper cultural understanding, strengthens critical thinking, and fosters genuine engagement in the classroom.

Through real stories, lived experience and connections to Country, LKP invites students to explore the science, culture and knowledge systems of First Nations peoples in respectful and engaging ways.

Bring Indigenous Knowledge Systems to life

Through place-based learning experiences, students engage with knowledge that is applied, observed and understood in context.

From practices such as Cultural Fire to broader relationships across Country, learning moves beyond theory to support real-world understanding of how knowledge is held, shared and practised.

This builds respect for Indigenous knowledge systems and strengthens students’ connection to Country in a meaningful and practical way.
